Preparing Students for Greater Independence Through Real-World Learning
At NextPhase Learning & Life Center, our enrichment programs are thoughtfully designed to help adolescents and young adults build confidence, strengthen practical life skills, and prepare for greater independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
Executive Functioning
Students strengthen organization, planning, time management, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills that support success in everyday life.
Social Development
Students build meaningful relationships, practice effective communication, develop self-confidence, and strengthen social skills through guided interactions and real-world experiences.
Financial Literacy
Students learn practical money management skills, including budgeting, saving, banking, responsible spending, and financial decision-making.
Independent Living Skills
Students develop everyday life skills such as meal preparation, laundry, home organization, personal care, household responsibilities, and healthy daily routines.
Community-Based Instruction (CBI)
Learning extends beyond the classroom through guided community experiences where students practice life skills in authentic settings, building confidence and independence.
Workplace Readiness
Students explore career interests while developing professional habits, workplace communication, teamwork, responsibility, problem-solving, and other skills that prepare them for future employment opportunities.

Malika Robinson
Founder & Executive Director
With more than 23 years of experience supporting Students with unique abilities, Malika is passionate about helping students thrive through developmental enrichment, Community-Based Instruction (CBI), executive functioning, and independent living experiences. She holds National Administrator Credential (NICCM) and a Diploma in Prophetic Studies. She believes every student deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, build confidence, and prepare for a successful future.

Latrell McCray
Co-Director & Senior Life Skills Instructor
Latrell is dedicated to helping students build confidence, independence, and practical life skills through individualized support and meaningful community experiences. Completed the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and continues expanding her professional knowledge while supporting students with compassion, consistency, and encouragement. She enjoys celebrating every milestone and helping students recognize their unique abilities.

Stephanie Vieux
Family Support & Student Services Coordinator
Stephanie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and brings valuable experience supporting students and young adults with unique abilities. She is passionate about partnering with families and helping each student develop the confidence and practical life skills needed to thrive beyond high school.

Morning Enrichment Block
Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
$20 per day
A calm, structured start to the day with supervised enrichment activities and preparation for the day's program.
Afternoon Elective Enrichment
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
$25 per day
Students continue building independence through engaging enrichment experiences, community projects, recreation, and practical life skills.

No. NextPhase Learning & Life Center is an enrichment program that complements a student's educational journey through practical, real-world learning experiences.

We currently accept eligible students using Step Up For Students FES-UA and PEP scholarships.
Do you offer private-pay options?
Yes. Private-pay enrollment is available for families not using scholarship funding.
What are your program hours?
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–2:30 PM
Morning Elective Enrichment: 7:30–8:30 AM
Afternoon Elective Enrichment: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 2:30–4:00 PM
